202506 New Zealand - Jules Birthday

We love our kiwi mates and we were blessed with an invitation to Jule's "n"th birthday celebration in Wanaka. The Wanaka mob definitely know how to party so it was an opportunity too good to be missed.

So we allotted a week to pop over, celebrate and possibly sober up.

Cher and Hamish very kindly extended an invitation to Nicole, Theresa and I to stay at their place in Wanaka. Absolutely fabulous.

On the way over we stayed overnight in Queenstown.

Overnight in Queenstown with a quick wander.

Then headed for Wanaka. This is such a scenic place, every view is a photo.

Obviously partied both at Jule's birthday venue, Cher's place and elsewhere. Great fun.

Back to Queenstown for a few days. Nicole, Theresa and I did the zip line from the top of Queenstown to the bottom. That was a lot of fun.

Such good fun. Nicole headed back to Brissie, leaving Theresa and I to explore. We took a drive to Paradise, and that is such a spectacular place to visit. WOW.

Temperature dropped to 0C and below on a couple of days, we still walked. Only on one evening did we call a taxi to take us home, soooooo cold.
