202608 10th Wedding Anniversary

My electronic calendar confirms August 28th as the official date so why did I book for Theresa and I to relocate to Montville the week before? LOL.

But all turned out very well. It's been years since we stayed at Oceanview, and there are new owners. No major changes. And for the first time we had cottage #1. It's separated by more space than the others. But all of the Cottages are fabulous.

We arrived, unloaded, popped a bottle of champers, marvelled at all of the goodies left for us. Thank-you Anthony and Carly.

And we did not leave for 3days! I planned the meals, over catered as usual. Matching wines. Music. Read books. Chatted. Watched movies. Just chilled!!! Fabulous.

We were warned that the local Kookaburras were known "sausage thieves" and each time I popped out to use the BBQ, they appeared. Just lovely. We remember the ones at Paul and Suzanne's home in Bardon.

No rush on Monday. Final breakfast then took the long way back to Brisbane avoiding the highway until Caboolture.
