202402 Walking 3 Capes

Sadly Theresa had to cancel owing to a knee injury. But pressed me to continue with the walk. A mixture of emotions. Absolutely awed by the walk and the scenery. Met some great people on the walk. And sad that Theresa could not join me.

So I booked us both to walk 3 Capes in October 2024!!

Tasmanian Walking company were very easy to deal with. The organisation of all aspects of the walk just faultless. The "huts" each night are luxurious. Meals were first class, both the lunches prepared for us whilst walking AND also the breakfasts and dinners.

The "drying room" meant that you could wash clothes ready to wear the next day.

Our guides were a fount of historical knowledge, the flora and fauna. Provided lots of "hints" to be prepare for the walks.

Walking was at an easy pace. Faster walkers up front, those wanting to take more time to enjoy the walk, take photos (I took over 550!!) et al was not a problem.

Sadly my GoPro Hero 11 mini DIED on the first day. This is the 2nd time a H11 mini has not powered up. GoPro replaced the first one under my no questions asked annual subscription. They've changed their process and their SERVICE is dreadful. Cannot get hold of anyone. Difficult to deal with. NO MORE GOPRO purchases from me!!!
